This is the sophomore release by Mr. D's Projections. Keeping true to the stylistic mash-ups that defined the sound on his debut album, 'Dynamite Soul!!!' This album, 'Doing My Thing', was originally released in 2012 but was only available on the Splintered Tree Records label site and never got the proper attention it deserved. Happily 10 years later this solid release of eclectic and inspired work gets another chance to be seen and heard. As with 'Dynamite Soul!!!', Mr. D joyfully wears his influences on his sleeve. Great artists like Beck, Jamiroquai, Prince, Devo, and the Beatles all play a big role in created the unique fusion of styles that Mr. D's Projections is all about. Get in to it!
